Are you looking for the best baby carrier for dads but one that works well for moms too? You’re in the right place. It’s easy to get overwhelmed with all of the different types of baby carriers that are available today. Where do you even start when it comes to finding the best one?
I had considered purchasing this type of carrier for years before I finally decided it was time to invest in one. With three kids four and under, I realized I needed the best and most comfortable baby carrier available for my husband and me because we would be wearing our son often.

And now after months of using this soft-structured carrier, I can say it’s one of the best baby products we own. I wish I had purchased it sooner and used it with our other kids. It has been a lifesaver for us, and we use it almost daily.
Best Baby Carrier for Dads
My husband loves using this high quality baby carrier and uses it often. He finds it comfortable, with good weight distribution, and the neutral colors work well for both of us. He likes the versatility of the various carrying positions and that baby is safe and secure while his hands are free to complete routine tasks.
Best Baby Carrier for Back Pain
I have had three back surgeries over the years, so it was important to me to have a baby carrier that provided excellent support. I have tried other carriers, and this carrier is hands down the most comfortable for my back. In fact, I have had no back pain at all while using this carrier. It comes with a wide wasteband for extra back support, which we both agree makes a huge difference. We are able to use the carrier more often because of the extra back support.
Ergobaby 360 Review
We have used the Ergobaby 360 with our son (our third baby), and we absolutely love it. We use the carrier almost every day and find it very comfortable to wear. Our son is completely content in it as well.
The 360 All Position Baby Carrier is versatile with four carrying options based on age/size/weight including front carry – facing parent, front carry – facing out, hip carry, and back carry.
While it includes an infant insert, I didn’t use the 360 with our newborn. I used the Solly Baby Wrap while he was in the newborn stage and then purchased the 360 carrier once he started getting bigger.
According to ergobaby.com:
The Bundle of Joy (360 All Positions Baby Carrier with Infant Insert) has been acknowledged as a “hip healthy” product by the International Hip Dysplasia Institute.
Offering both of you complete comfort and a chance for adventure in four ergonomic positions, here’s what else you need to know about this carrier:
- Holds babies and toddlers, 12-45 lbs
- Infant insert needed for babies 0-4 months, 7-12 lbs
- 4 ergonomic carrying positions
- Adjustable padded shoulder straps
- Lumbar support waistband
- Baby privacy hood
- Machine washable
Is the Ergobaby 360 Baby Carrier worth it?
For us, it has been absolutely worth it. My husband and I have been able to wear our son while hiking, playing at the park with our older kids, cleaning around the house, and more. It is worth every penny for us to not have any back pain while using the carrier and for our son to be happy and content in it as well.
